DO YOU THINK I'M BEAUTIFUL?

If there is a question attached to the soul of a woman, maybe it’s do you think I’m beautiful? When God answers from the depth of His great love, it makes some of us feel like the wallflower who is asked to dance, but we can become distracted from His invitation because of the other lovers, whispers of unbelief, noise and clutter, and because we are sometimes the prodigal, sometimes the elder brother.
To return to the music and strong embrace of God requires a desperate and pursuing heart. When a woman chooses to remain in His arms of devotion, God gives the only hope we have, His perfect love, and a beautiful crown.

God is enthralled by the beauty of a woman and calls her His beloved. He wildly pursues her heart with romance and intimacy to make her his beautiful bride.

I was searching for a book in Booksale (“Booksale”=This is where you can buy secondhand books with cheaper cost here in PH) then I came across Angela Thomas’ book. The title was very catchy, “Do You Think I’m Beautiful?” it lingers in my mind. Back then, I was planning to buy Max Lucado and Charles Stanley Book, but the title was so intriguing that it keeps hanging around in my mind. It feels like my brain is going to popped out craving for the answer “Do You Think I’m Beautiful?” Fortunately, I found myself paying at the cashier with this book in my hand.

I was excited to read this book in search for the answer, “Do You Think I’m Beautiful?” The first chapter was intentionally stirring. It awakens every woman’s desire to be called beautiful. You may ask how? I don’t want to be such spoiler, just look for yourself. While I was reading the first chapter, I found myself approving on the sentences. Yes, woman must be called beautiful and there are no exceptions. Some women never realize their worth until they meet their Creator. The book shows how woman loved by God, how wild He is for us. Some women already meet their Creator but never convinced to be called beautiful, but the book depicts how God deal with every heart of His beloved. The book actually tells that there is a passion inside women’s heart waiting to rekindle. And of course, the longing of God to dance with her passion. It illustrates how this world can’t satisfy the heart of woman.

This book is a must read!
For singles waiting for their God-given partner.
For “in relationship” out there who get used up with tangled relationship.
For a mother yearning to be called beautiful once again.
For all women who missed to be called beautiful.
For all women who want to know the true meaning of beautiful.
For all women who wants to experience the REAL ROMANCE.
For all women waiting to be called BEAUTIFUL BRIDE.

One Life, That’s All I Have

This is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sin.” – 1 John 4:10

How many times I confessed the hymns of defeated? How many times I failed to hinder temptation? How many times I decided to give up what I believe in? No one knows. No matter how many times, I’m still here taking a good grip at His Grace. No matter how many times I cried there’s always Jesus who comforts. No matter how many times I failed, there’s always a nail-pierced hand willing to help me stand.
“God, are You tired loving me? Just give up loving me!” I always muttered when I’m guilty doing something unacceptable in the eyes of God. He doesn’t leave, though I pretend being insensitive, I know He’s still there. In the end I was the one to give up pushing Him away from me. No matter how I try to forget His love, I end up on my knees, crying, asking for forgiveness. There are two things I learned from my past mistakes; giving up God’s love is like attempting to commit suicide and once God touched your life there’s no turning back. He never gives up on me, and I know He never will for His Words are true and flawless.
When the Lord leaves the heaven and dwell among us He proves that love conquers all. When He dresses Himself with feeble humanity, He demonstrated His immeasurable love. When He took the Cross for us, everything was finished. That extravagant love, how can I repay it? Only one thing for sure, I have this life coming from Him. If He give up heaven just for me, why shouldn’t give up my life for Him? Talk is cheap. It’s hard to follow Christ. It’s hard to be Holy, let’s admit it. But it’s hard for those who fear to leave their comfort zone; it’s hard for those who are not willing to completely surrender their life to Jesus.

Can I give up my pride for God?

Can I give up my plans and dreams for God?

Can I leave my past behind and commit my future to God?

Can I give up everything for God?

One thing quickens my mind; I can if I’m willing to trust and cooperate with His great plans. Life has its ups and downs, but God has His perfect ways. I breathed today because of His love. He didn’t wait for me to draw near to me, but He drew closer. God had forgiven and given me everything. I know I can’t repay all He had done; all I can do is to obey Him. I can’t love Him greater than He did at the Cross, but I can always please Him by means of my surrendered life.
